In "Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Jion no zankou", Anavel Gato (Akio Otsuka) infiltrates the Federation's Torrington base, stealing the nuclear-armed Gundam GP02A "Physalis" prototype. Meanwhile, rookie pilot Kou Uraki (Ryo Horikawa) pilots the Gundam GP01 "Zephyranthes" prototype with the help of engineer Nina Purpleton (Rei Sakuma) and the crew of the carrier Albion, in an attempt to recover the stolen Gundam unit and prevent another war. The film is a compilation of the OVA series.
