Ginga-tetsudô no yoru

Giovanni, a young, bluish-colored cat, lives a dreary life of near non-stop work. He embarks on a journey on a mysterious train through the universe with his classmate Campanella, who knows the way they're going. As the train travels through the Milky Way galaxy, they encounter various passengers, including a bird-catcher who turns birds into candy, a blind wireless operator, and two children who survived a shipwreck. Along the way, Giovanni and Campanella share experiences that shape their understanding of the universe and their relationship with each other.
