A Little Romance

Laurene King (Diane Lane), a book-smart and affluent 13-year-old girl, lives in Paris with her mother Kay and stepfather Richard, while Daniel Michon (Thelonious Bernard), a "street-smart" and movie-loving 13-year-old French boy, lives with his taxi-driver father. The two meet and fall in love in the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, where they team up with eccentric pickpocket Julius Santorin (Laurence Olivier) to run away to Venice, where they hope to seal their love forever with a kiss beneath the Bridge of Sighs. Along the way, they face various obstacles, including an international investigation, misadventures, and misunderstandings, but ultimately find themselves in Venice, where they can fulfill their dreams.
