The Jerky Boys

Two unemployed telephone pranksters, Johnny B. and Kamal, aka "the Jerky Boys", use their vocal talents to impersonate a Chicago mob boss, "Frank Rizzo", in New York, getting into trouble with the Mafia and the police. They get caught up in a money laundering business and must stop their shenanigans to save their hometown bar, which is slated for demolition. Johnny B. and Kamal are taken into police custody, where they are interrogated and eventually released on bail, leading to a wild goose chase that exposes a larger Mafia operation.
