Elijah (Mamoudou Athie) must balance his dream of becoming a master sommelier with his father's expectations that he carry on the family's Memphis BBQ joint. Elijah's passion for wine is encouraged by his friend Tanya, but his family's pressure and financial setbacks threaten to derail his ambitions. After his mother's cancer diagnosis and death, Elijah must confront his priorities and decide what truly matters to him.
