Robinson Crusoe

Robinson Crusoe, a Scottish gentleman and former naval officer, flees Britain after killing his friend Patrick over his childhood love Mary. A fierce ocean storm wrecks his ship, and he's left stranded on an uncharted island, where he must fend for himself. Crusoe meets Friday, a tribesman he saves from being sacrificed, and initially, they form a tentative friendship. However, their relationship is complicated by cultural and language barriers, as well as Crusoe's attempts to convert Friday to Christianity.
