Daeho

In 1925 Korea, Japanese rulers demand the last remaining tiger be killed. The tiger easily defeats his pursuers until a legendary hunter, Chun Man-duk (Choi Min-sik), takes him on. Man-duk, a revered hunter, lives with his teenage son Seok (Sung Yu-bin) in a hut near Mount Jirisan. Following a tragic accident, Man-duk has retired his rifle and become a humble herb gatherer. He is pursued by the Japanese governor general, who is obsessed with killing the tiger, and a group of Korean hunters, including his former hunting partner Gu-kyung, who continually attempt to track and kill the Mountain Lord, a legendary tiger. In the end, Man-duk reaches the top of the mountain and waits for the Mountain Lord, and the two fall off the mountain together to their deaths.
