Bound by Honor

Based on the true life experiences of poet Jimmy Santiago Baca, the film follows half-brothers Paco and Cruz, and their bi-racial cousin Miklo, as they navigate their lives in 1972 East Los Angeles. Miklo joins a street gang, Tres Puntos, and kills their rival Spider, leading to a violent confrontation that alters the course of their lives. As they diverge, Miklo is imprisoned in San Quentin, while Paco becomes an undercover detective with the Los Angeles Police Department.
