Insomnia

In "Insomnia", two Los Angeles homicide detectives are dispatched to a small town in Alaska where the sun doesn't set to investigate the gruesome murder of a local teenager. As the investigation unfolds, detectives Will Dormer and Hap Eckhart become embroiled in a complex web of guilt, blackmail, and deception that tests their own moral compasses. Haunted by insomnia brought on by his troubled past, Dormer must navigate the treacherous landscape of Nightmute, Alaska, where nothing is as it seems and everyone's hiding something.
