Mongol

In 1192, Temüjin, a prisoner in the Tangut kingdom, recounts his story through a series of flashbacks. As a boy, he is accompanied by his father Yesügei to select a girl as his future wife, and he meets and chooses Börte, against his father's wishes. After his father's death, he vows to return for Börte and sets off on an expedition with Jamukha, a blood brother he made years earlier. Temüjin escapes capture, reunites with Börte, and rescues her from the Merkit tribe. He then launches a successful attack on the Merkits with Jamukha's help, but Jamukha later declares war on him, leading to a fierce battle on the steppe. Temüjin, inspired by his bravery, gathers an army and defeats Jamukha, bringing his tribe under his banner. Eventually, he unites all the Mongol tribes and imposes three basic laws, paving the way for his future conquests.
