Invincible

A 2006 American biographical sports drama film directed by Ericson Core tells the story of Vince Papale, a bartender who became a member of the Philadelphia Eagles in 1976 with the help of his coach, Dick Vermeil. Despite being laid off from his day job and struggling to make ends meet, Papale attends an open tryout for the Eagles, which is met with skepticism by the public. With the support of his friends and a chance encounter with Janet Cantrell, a rival Giants fan, Papale earns a spot on the team through hard work and determination, ultimately leading the Eagles to a surprise victory against their arch-rivals, the New York Giants.
