Veronika Decides to Die

After a frantic suicide attempt, Veronika awakens inside a mysterious mental asylum. Under the supervision of an unorthodox psychiatrist Dr. Blake, Veronika learns that she has only weeks to live. She finds renewed purpose through playing the asylum's piano and connecting with the schizophrenic Edward, who helps her recover a will to live. As Veronika and Edward escape, they are observed by Dr. Blake, who is testing his theory that convincing Veronika she only has weeks to live will cure her desire to end her life.
