Chester Lee, a desperate Denver businessman, takes over a girls' soccer team sponsored by his company, fabricating a story of being an excellent soccer player in his youth. He's aided by his assistant coach, Julie, and his girlfriend's son, Matthew, who helps him coach the team. Matthew dresses up as "Martha" to play on the team, and his help leads to the team's success, ultimately helping Chester get a promotion and win the championship. The team's victory is a surprise to everyone, especially Chester's boss, and brings Chester the respect and success he's always sought.
