Jack and Jill

Jack Sadelstein, a successful advertising executive in Los Angeles with a beautiful wife and kids, dreads one event each year: the Thanksgiving visit of his twin sister Jill. Jill's neediness and passive-aggressiveness is maddening to Jack, turning his normally tranquil life upside down. As an adult, Jill is unemployed and lives alone in their childhood home, which she inherited following their mother's death the previous year. She visits Jack for Thanksgiving, announces her intentions to depart at the end of Hanukkah with an open-ended plane ticket, much to his consternation.
