Kim Soo-hyeon (Lee Byung-hun), a top-secret agent, vows to exact revenge against the killer who brutally murdered his pregnant fiancée, Joo-yun, a school bus driver and serial killer (Choi Min-sik). As Soo-hyeon tracks down Kyung-chul, he finds himself drawn into a cycle of brutal torture, where he seeks to inflict the same suffering on the killer that he endured. Soo-hyeon's quest for vengeance becomes an all-consuming force, threatening to consume his own humanity.
