R-Point, a 2004 South Korean supernatural horror film, tells the story of Lieutenant Choi Tae-in (Kam Woo-sung) and his squad as they arrive at a strategic island near Saigon, Vietnam, in January 1972, during the Vietnam War. They soon discover that the island is haunted, and the squad members begin to encounter supernatural entities, including a female Viet Cong fighter who ambushed their platoon. As the mission to extract the missing soldiers descends into chaos, the squad's own demons are unleashed, leading to a desperate fight for survival.
