PK

A humanoid alien lands in Rajasthan, India, on a research mission, but is immediately stranded when a local thief steals his spaceship's remote-control amulet. The alien, PK, distributes pamphlets seeking a "missing" God, and after being arrested, he is befriended by a sympathetic journalist, Jagat "Jaggu" Janani Sahni. Together, they embark on a journey to find PK's stolen amulet, which leads them to expose the fraudulent godman Tapasvi Maharaj. As PK's message of self-discovery and critical thinking about organized religion spreads, the film becomes a powerful satire that challenges societal norms and the power of religion.
