British writer James Miller (William Shimell) meets a French woman, Elle (Juliette Binoche), in Tuscany, and their encounter sparks a series of debates about authenticity and simplicity in art and life. As they stroll through the countryside, they discuss their respective relationships and the intricacies of love and connection.
