In the comedy film Jewtopia, Jennifer Love Hewitt stars as Alison Marks, a rabbi's daughter who captures the heart of Christian O'Connell (Ivan Sergei), a gentile who enlists his Jewish friend Adam Lipschitz (Joel David Moore) to teach him how to be a "good" Jewish boyfriend. As Christian navigates cultural differences and tries to keep up appearances, Adam struggles with his own personal crises, including a mental breakdown on the eve of his wedding.
