Danny Ortega (Manuel Garcia) is released from prison after a 17-year-long term for shooting his mother's abusive boyfriend, moments after he raped his childhood friend Natalie. He returns to Houston, Texas, and is shocked to learn that drug barons and other crime bosses have taken over his hometown. After working at a limo company and partnering with his childhood friend Corando (Corando Martinez, Jr.), Danny starts pushing drugs and begins a relationship with Natalie. As he navigates the world of crime, Danny's lust for power and revenge leads him down a path of violence and eventually, to becoming a drug lord.
