The Man Who Saved Christmas

Jason Alexander plays A.C. Gilbert, a toymaker, in the 2002 film "The Man Who Saved Christmas," which is based on the true story of Gilbert's efforts during World War I. As the government asks him to re-tool his factory to produce war goods, Gilbert's brother Frank (Ari Cohen) is declared missing in action, and his family's Christmas celebration is threatened. With the help of his family, Gilbert successfully lobbies the government to allow toy manufacturers, including himself, to resume production of toys for Christmas, ultimately earning him the nickname "The man who saved Christmas."
