Dodsworth

Sam Dodsworth, played by Walter Huston, is a retired auto manufacturer and husband to Fran, played by Ruth Chatterton, who takes a long-planned European vacation with him. While traveling on the RMS Queen Mary, Fran meets a younger Englishman, Captain Lockert, played by David Niven, but their relationship is strained. Meanwhile, Sam becomes infatuated with Edith Cortright, played by Mary Astor, and begins to re-evaluate his life and marriage.
