Thugs of Hindostan

In 1795, King Mirza Sikander Baig is killed by John Clive, and the Indian subcontinent is annexed by the East India Company. Khudabaksh, a general, trains his daughter Zafira in warfare and leads a band of Indian bandits known as Thugs, who challenge the expanding East India Company. Firangi Mallah, a small-time thug, infiltrates the Thugs and aims to be a European, while also flirting with Suraiyya, a dancer. As Firangi joins the Thugs, he becomes conflicted and ultimately helps Zafira and the Thugs in their fight against the East India Company, leading to the death of Lord Clive and the establishment of Zafira as the queen of her own kingdom.
