Cost of a Soul

Wounded in the war, Tommy Donahue and DD Davis return home to the same slum neighborhood they grew up in, only to find themselves trapped in a web of crime, corruption, and violence. Tommy reunites with his wife, Faith, and their six year-old daughter, Hope, whom he abandoned while she was pregnant, and begins to melt his frozen heart. As they struggle for redemption, DD faces the pressure to save his younger brother, James, from following in their older brother, Darnell's, dangerous footsteps. As they navigate their families' entanglement in the neighborhood's underworld, they must confront their own pasts and the harsh realities of racism.
