Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie

Bob the Tomato and Dad Asparagus are driving Veggie children to see the popular singer "Twippo" in concert when they crash the van into a river. During the crash, Bob and Dad blame each other, but the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything encourage Junior to show compassion. To illustrate their point, they tell the story of Jonah, a Prophet of ancient Israel who is asked by God to deliver a message to the people of Nineveh. After Jonah flees, he is swallowed by a whale, meets a caterpillar named Khalil, and eventually repents before being spat out and delivering the message to the Ninevites. The Veggies come to understand the point of the story: God wants everybody to show compassion and mercy, even to those that do not seem to deserve it.
