Hitman Wong Chi-ming, played by Leon Lai Ming, wants to detach from his hitman activities and have a secret love with his partner, who cleans his apartment while he's out. He meets Blondie, an eccentric woman who thinks he's her ex-lover, and also encounters an ex-convict named He Zhiwu, played by Takeshi Kaneshiro, who is mute and works at night, selling goods and services. As Wong's life becomes increasingly surreal, his partner's infatuation with him grows, while Blondie's heartbreak deepens, leaving Wong to make a final decision that will change his life forever.
