Bait

A man, Marko (Hugo Haas), teams up with Ray Brighton (John Agar) to search for a lost gold mine. Marko's younger wife, Peggy (Cleo Moore), becomes an integral part of their partnership, initially as a way to secure Ray's affections, but eventually as a genuine partner in their venture. As Ray begins to realize Marko's true intentions, he confronts his partner, leading to a tense and violent confrontation.
