Dôruzu

"Dolls" (2002) is a stylized art film that explores themes of death, regret, and the human condition, featuring three distinct storylines. A young couple, Matsumoto (Hidetoshi Nishijima) and his former fiancée Sawako (Miho Kanno), whose relationship is disrupted by an arranged marriage, form the central narrative. The film also delves into the lives of two other characters: Hiro (Tatsuya Mihashi), a yakuza, and Nukui (Tsutomu Takeshige), a fan obsessed with pop star Haruna (Kyoko Fukada).
