Du côté de la côte

This film is a tongue-in-cheek look at the French Riviera, celebrating its history, famous visitors, and its use of the word "Eden" to describe a paradise on earth. It features archive footage of Brigitte Bardot and Sophia Loren, who play themselves, and is voiced by Roger Coggio and Anne Ollivier. Agnès Varda's film is a playful commentary on the excesses of tourism and the fleeting nature of beauty, set against the picturesque backdrop of the Riviera.
