Intrigo: Dear Agnes

Agnes, a college literature professor, and Henny, a former actress, reconnect at the funeral of Agnes' husband, Erich Neuman-Hansen, who left half his estate to Agnes and half to his stepchildren, Thomas and Carla. Agnes is tasked with killing Henny's husband, Peter Grossman, in exchange for Henny's help in buying out her stepchildren's half of the estate. This favor is motivated by Henny's own struggles, which may be linked to the reason for their falling out over ten years ago, when Henny allegedly stole Agnes' part in a theater production.
