The Four Seasons

Three middle-aged wealthy couples – Jack and Kate Burroughs; Nick and Anne Callan; Danny and Claudia Zimmer – live in New York City and are close friends. They take vacations together, planned by Kate, in each of the four seasons. Jack is a moralistic lawyer who struggles with being judgmental, while Kate worries about her own feelings of invisibility and neglect. Meanwhile, Nick, an insurance salesman, is unhappy in his marriage and pursues a younger woman, Ginny, who becomes pregnant with his child. The group's relationships and conflicts come to a head during their winter vacation, where they face various crises, including accidents and infidelity.
