Shannon's Rainbow

A teenage girl named Shannon (Julianne Michelle) faces hardship after her father's sudden death, only to discover that her mother, Christine (Daryl Hannah), is alive and well. With the help of a horse trainer, she befriends a hobbled horse named Rainbow and, through caring for it, begins to overcome her emotional trauma and finds success in harness racing, ultimately upsetting a wealthy mogul, Mitchell Prescott (Eric Roberts), and forming new friendships along the way.
