Speckles, a young Tarbosaurus with a unique birthmark, lives with his family in the Korean Peninsula 70 million years ago. After a rogue Tyrannosaurus named One-Eye attacks his herd, Spotty is separated from his family and befriends another lost girl Tarbosaur, Blue-Eyes, who becomes his friend and companion for two decades. Together, they face various challenges, including encounters with One-Eye, who seeks to usurp their territory, and a devastating volcanic eruption that forces them to flee. Along the way, Spotty becomes the de facto alpha of a large migratory herd of dinosaurs and ultimately avenges his family and love interest, wishing a peaceful life for his surviving son.
