A man, Laut (Dean Fujioka), is found washed up on a beach in Banda Aceh, Indonesia, suffering from amnesia and speaking in broken Indonesian and Japanese. He becomes entangled in the lives of those around him, including his family, Takashi (Taiga Nakano), and his friend Kris (Adipati Dolken), as they navigate a series of mysterious and miraculous events.
