Gyeongseonghakgyo: Sarajin sonyeodeul

The Silenced (Korean: 경성학교: 사라진 소녀들) is a 2015 South Korean mystery-thriller film about a sickly girl Ju-ran (Park Bo-young), transferred to a sanatorium/girls' boarding school in 1938 during the Japanese occupation. She discovers her classmates are disappearing and her own body is undergoing abnormal changes, leading her to investigate the school's possible role in the mysterious happenings. With the help of her friend Yeon-deok (Park So-dam), they uncover a secret Japanese military base and the Imperial Japan's use of the girls as lab rats to create performance-enhancing drugs.
