Bamboozled

Pierre Delacroix (Damon Wayans), a frustrated television producer, creates a minstrel show, "Mantan: The New Millennium Minstrel Show," featuring black actors in blackface and racist jokes, to get fired. The show becomes a huge success, but its content sparks violent fallout from the black community. As the show's success grows, Pierre's personal assistant, Sloan Hopkins (Jada Pinkett Smith), and a homeless street performer, Manray (Savion Glover), become stars, while Delacroix defends the show as satire. However, the satire backfires, and the show's sponsor ads are met with violent resistance from an underground rap group, leading to the tragic consequences of the show's success.
