Planet 51

On Planet 51, a human astronaut named Captain Charles T. "Chuck" Baker arrives on a world reminiscent of 1950s American suburbia, where he meets a teenage alien named Lem, who helps him return home while avoiding capture by the planet's military commander, General Grawl. Chuck's efforts to escape are complicated by his interactions with Lem's friends and family, including his crush, Neera, and his best friend, Skiff. Along the way, Chuck befriends a dog-like robotic probe called Rover and helps Lem and his friends rescue General Grawl from his own paranoid delusions.
