Killing Them Softly

During the 2008 financial crisis and presidential election, Jackie Cogan, a ruthless hitman, is hired to restore order after three amateur thieves rob a Mafia-controlled poker game in Boston. The crime syndicate's economy collapses as a result, forcing Jackie to navigate a complex web of violence, corruption, and betrayal to eliminate the culprits. With his trademark "killing them softly" approach, Jackie takes aim at those responsible, but not before encountering a cast of characters who challenge his cynicism and force him to confront the darker aspects of his profession.
