Salesman

The documentary "Salesman" follows four door-to-door Bible salesmen, including Paul "The Badger" Brennan, as they travel across New England and southeast Florida, trying to sell large, expensive Bibles to low-income neighborhoods. The film focuses on Brennan's struggles to maintain his sales, while also capturing the salesmen's personal lives and interactions with their clients. Melbourne I. Feltman provides theological consultation, while Margaret McCarron is seen as a motel maid. The Maysles brothers self-funded the film on a low budget, using handheld cameras and recording sound on a handheld microphone.
