The Isle is a 2000 South Korean film directed by Kim Ki-duk, starring Suh Jung as mute Hee-jin, a fishing resort clerk who becomes embroiled in a tumultuous relationship with Hyun-shik (Kim Yu-seok), a man on the run from the law.
