Rang De Basanti

The film follows a British filmmaker, Sue McKinley, as she travels to India to produce a documentary about five freedom fighters of the Indian revolutionary movement. She befriends and casts five young men, including Aamir Khan's Character Name (Aamir Khan) as Daljit 'DJ' Singh, Siddharth's Character Name (Siddharth) as Karan Singhania, Kunal Kapoor's Character Name (Kunal Kapoor) as Aslam Khan, Sharman Joshi's Character Name (Sharman Joshi) as Sukhi, and Atul Kulkarni's Character Name (Atul Kulkarni) as Laxman Pandey, in a film about the revolutionaries. After a series of events, the friends collectively decide to avenge the killing of one of their own, inspired by the freedom fighters they represent in the film, and channel the revolutionary fervor to fight against the injustices of their present-day government.
