Straight Up

Straight Up is a 2019 independent film that tells the story of Todd, a hyper-articulate and obsessive-compulsive gay twentysomething, who meets Rory, a struggling actress, and forms a relationship that's all talk and no sex. Characterized by their eccentric sense of humor and witty banter, Todd and Rory navigate their differences and confront their insecurities, with Todd's friends opposing their relationship due to perceived internalized homophobia. As their connection deepens, Todd and Rory face challenges that test their love and commitment to each other, leading to an uncertain and intimate conclusion.
