Dedication

"Dedication" is a 2007 American comedy-drama film starring Billy Crudup as Henry Roth, a misanthropic writer of children's books, and Mandy Moore as Lucy Reilly, his illustrator and love interest. After the death of his best friend and collaborator Rudy Holt, Henry is forced to work with Lucy at the beach house to complete their next "Marty the Beaver" book. Henry's past relationships and emotional baggage are put to the test as he navigates his new partnership with Lucy, who is still pining for her ex-boyfriend Jeremy, played by Martin Freeman.
