L'affaire Farewell

In the midst of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, an unlikely connection is formed between Pierre Froment, a French engineer based in Moscow, and Sergei Grigoriev, a senior KGB officer disenchanted with the Soviet regime. Grigoriev begins passing sensitive information about the Soviet spy network in the US to Froment, who becomes an unwitting intermediary. As the French receive an extraordinary amount of valuable information about Western technology, they must navigate the complex web of espionage and deception, while Grigoriev's fate hangs in the balance. Guillaume Canet stars as Pierre Froment, Emir Kusturica as Sergei Grigoriev.
