"Les 7 jours du talion" is a 2010 Canadian psychological horror tragedy film directed by Daniel Grou, starring Claude Legault as Bruno Hamel, a surgeon whose ordinary life is destroyed when his daughter Jasmine (Rose-Marie Coallier) is raped and murdered. Bruno abducts the prime suspect, Anthony Lemaire (Martin Dubreuil), and tortures him over the course of seven days, leading to a confrontation with police detective Hervé Mercure (Rémy Girard), who is driven by a personal tragedy of his own. As the investigation unfolds, Bruno's actions become increasingly brutal, culminating in a confrontation that will determine the fate of Lemaire and the families of his victims.
