Like Someone in Love

An elderly retired professor, Takashi (Tadashi Okuno), forms an unusual bond with Akiko (Rin Takanashi), a young student moonlighting as a high-class prostitute, over the course of a single day. She is accompanied by her jealous boyfriend, Noriaki (Ryo Kase), who becomes increasingly agitated as their paths continue to cross. As the day unfolds, Takashi's quiet hospitality and gentle nature seem to bring Akiko a sense of calm, but also raise questions about their connection and the circumstances of their encounter.
