Dead End Drive-In

In the near future, a health nut and his tag-along girlfriend become trapped in a drive-in theater that has become a concentration camp for outcast youths. The inmates, many of whom sport punk fashion, are placated with a steady diet of junk food, new wave music, drugs, and exploitation films. Character Jimmy "Crabs" Rossini, played by Ned Manning, sneaks into the Star Drive-In with his girlfriend Carmen, played by Natalie McCurry, after his car's wheels are stolen, but they are caught by the owner, Thompson, played by Peter Whitford. Crabs tries to escape, but faces numerous obstacles, including an electrified fence, a racist gang, and the camp's manipulative atmosphere, which indoctrinates Carmen into the racist mentality. Crabs ultimately outsmarts the camp's authorities and escapes to freedom.
