In this wuxia comedy film, Stephen Chow stars as Ling Ling Fat, a Chinese Emperor's personal bodyguard with a penchant for creating outlandish inventions. Despite his lack of martial arts skills, Ling Ling Fat's wits and creations help him defeat a group of assassins at a medical exposition, where a Grey alien is to be dissected. The Emperor honors Ling Ling Fat's success and gives him a reward, setting him on a new assignment to investigate a beautiful prostitute, Kam Cho, who turns out to be the villain in disguise.
