Mou gaan dou II

In this prequel to the original, a bloody power struggle among the Triads coincides with the 1997 handover of Hong Kong, setting up the events of the first film. The story follows police inspector Wong Chi-shing (Anthony Wong) as he navigates a complex web of Triad politics and corruption. Meanwhile, Lau Kin-ming (Edison Chen) poses as a mole within the police force to gather information for his Triad boss, Hon Sam (Eric Tsang). As the Triads vie for power, Wong enlists the help of Chan Wing-yan (Shawn Yue), an undercover cop who is also the half-brother of Hon's Triad leader, Ngai Wing-hau (Francis Ng).
