Otis, a carefree Holstein ox voiced by Kevin James, lives on a farm in Oedeville, Arizona, where animals can reveal their anthropomorphism when humans aren't watching. After his adoptive father Ben's death from a coyote attack, Otis becomes the farm's leader and struggles with his new position and duties. With the help of his friends, including Pip the mouse, Pig the pig, Freddy the ferret, and Peck the rooster, Otis confronts the sadistic coyote leader Dag, who threatens the farm's animals.
